I bought the 48", thought it would be smaller but it's actually pretty big and impressive if you're watching from 3-4 ft. The OLED colors and deep blacks are outstanding, it has pretty much all the gaming features you need: VRR, 144 hz, Dolby atmos, HDR, 4 2.1 hdmi ports, etc. I've been mainly playing on a PS5 slim, with the Nintendo Switch 2 and Xbox Series S as complements, they all run pretty good, it's a joy to rediscover games with said enhancements. I was also pleasantly surprised by the price, it's cheaper than the B4 55" and the C5 42", for its price you're really getting everything you need, highly recommended.

I bought the LG C4 as a replacement for my 4k/120hz Acer Predator 43 inch monitor that died after four years. The LG is better in nearly every way. HDMI 2.1 handles 4k/144hz with HDR smoothly. The picture clarity and deep blacks are spectacular. As a TV, it adds apps, tuner, wifi and more. Input lag and refresh rates are now competitive with gaming monitors. Setup can be a bit tricky as not all adjustments are in every mode. HDR brightness isn't as high as some VA or IPS panels but deep blacks make it worthwhile. For a computer monitor, this is solid value; as a TV the price is harder to justify but the quality is undeniable.

Coming from a few different TVs over the years, the LG OLED C1 totally impressed me with its picture quality. The dark scenes in The Lord of the Rings were stunning, with no detail lost in shadows. Setup was painless, and the sound from the built-in speakers was surprisingly clear for dialogue. Also appreciated the included OLED care features that help keep the screen safe from burn-in.

Shop NowYou should consider an OLED TV because it offers perfect black levels and incredible contrast thanks to its self-lit pixels that turn on and off individually. This means your movies, games, and sports come alive with stunning color accuracy and infinite contrast, unmatched by LCD or QLED displays. Plus, OLED TVs like the LG C4 or B5 series deliver ultra-fast response times and excellent motion handling, making them ideal for gaming and fast-action content.
While OLEDs can be pricier than LED-based TVs, you get a premium viewing experience designed to delight your eyes and immerse you fully in your favorite content.
You're right to wonder about burn-in, but modern OLED TVs have built-in features to help protect your screen. LG models, for instance, include Pixel Cleaning and Screen Shift technologies that periodically adjust pixels and subtly move the image to prevent static elements from causing long-term retention.
To prolong your TV's life, it’s smart to vary your content, avoid leaving static logos on the screen for hours, and use screen savers or turn off the TV when not watching. With proper care, you'll enjoy brilliant picture quality without worrying about burn-in for years.
When shopping for an OLED TV, focus on the screen size that fits your space and viewing distance—sizes range from 48 inches to over 77 inches, like the LG 48-Inch evo C4 or the 77-Inch C1. Check for gaming features if that matters to you, such as HDMI 2.1 ports, low input lag, VRR support, and game optimizer modes as found in LG’s evo series.
Don’t forget to evaluate the smart TV platform; LG’s webOS offers smooth navigation and voice assistant compatibility, while integration with Alexa or Google Assistant enhances convenience. Pricing varies from around $899.96 for a 48-inch LG evo C4 to over $1,300 for larger models, so balance your budget with the features you truly want. Finally, consider audio—built-in speakers are good but pairing with a soundbar or surround system will elevate your experience.
